Welcome to the home of Boldmere Scuba Divers
We are a small but active Scuba club formed in 1986 and based at Wyndley swimming baths in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham, West Midlands. We have several instructors and divers at all levels of training from beginner, ocean diver, sports diver, and dive leader all the way to advanced diver.
Our pool training night is Monday from 8.30 til 9.30pm, and you are welcome to come along to see what we do and have a chat with us about a Try Dive or perhaps joining the club (qualified divers from other agencies are always welcome).
Our members dive regularly at local quarries, which are excellent practice and training sites. We also travel to sites throughout the UK and further afield to places like Egypt, Mexico and the far east.
If you are interested in scuba diving or snorkelling, or if you are thinking of diving on holiday, get trained first before you go.

PADI, SSI or another agency qualified? Great! Joining our club is a great way to develop your scuba diving and to simply get out there and enjoy some great diving!
Already a diver?
Take the plunge! Come along on a Monday night for a Try Dive to see in advance if you like diving before joining our club.
We will introduce you to scuba equipment and give tuition on diving techniques followed by a scuba dive in the swimming pool with one of our BSAC-qualified instructors. All you need to bring is your swimming costume, a T-shirt and towel, we will provide the rest, although if you have your own mask and fins you can bring them along.
The Try Dive costs £10 and you will need to read and complete a short medical declaration to ensure that you are fit to dive.
