You will also have several classroom lessons where you will learn the theory of diving to back up your practical lessons.
Once you have achieved a suitable level of competence in the pool you will be introduced to open water at a local quarry where you will extend your skill levels before qualifying as a Discovery Diver, the first level of BSAC qualifications.
Further levels can be attained which will increase your skills and diving range and depths to encompass many other aspects of diving such as, diver rescue, boat diving, photography and many others. You can also attend BSAC Skill Development Courses where you will meet other divers from around the country to learn boat handling, marine archaeology and marine life appreciation to name just 3 of many.
